gardening equipment - gardening 101

There are cool season grasses and warm season grasses. Indoor gardening invites a whole new world of horticulture into the world of off season gardening.

Whichever your garden is, great care should be taken in the designing stage. If you are a first time tomato planter, it is important to know that they are put into two different types, depending on how they grow.

It is very important to kill all weeds before you begin planting your garden. You can pick tomatoes in the winter. Various plants will not live through harsh winters; others will shrivel up in heat; and some spring-flowering bulbs and trees need a cold period to encourage their growth cycles.

If the temperature inside your greenhouse becomes too hot, your plants will wilt and die. A cold house does lengthen the growing season from that of gardening outdoors by trapping the heat from the sun throughout the day. When your herb garden is thriving and filling your home with fragrant aromas, you may not want to snip them off but remember that there is no match for fresh herbs.

There is still plenty of time to plant, so get out there. Be careful not to spray on your plants as it could harm certain plants.
